Meet Our Candidates

President Kamala Harris and Vice President Tim Walz

Kamala Harris

As the daughter of parents who brought her to civil rights marches in a stroller, she was inspired to tackle injustice from an early age. She took that mission to county courtrooms, the California Attorney General’s office, the United States Senate, and the White House. Now she is running for President of the United States to continue protecting our freedoms, delivering justice, and expanding opportunity so that every American can not just get by, but get ahead.

Tim Walz

Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to public service. A former U.S. Congressman and veteran, Walz has consistently championed policies that promote education, healthcare, and economic equity. His collaborative leadership style and ability to unite diverse constituencies make him an ideal partner in advancing a progressive agenda. With a track record of tackling critical issues such as climate change and social justice, Walz is ready to help drive meaningful change for all Americans, ensuring a brighter future for the nation.

US Senate- Bob Casey

Born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Senator Casey graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 1982, and spent the following year teaching fifth grade and coaching eighth grade basketball in inner city Philadelphia for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. He received his law degree from Catholic University in 1988, and entered the practice of law in Scranton. Senator Casey and his wife, Terese, live in Scranton and have four adult daughters.

US Congress- Ashley Ehasz

Ashley Ehasz is a West Point graduate, Iraq war veteran, and former Apache helicopter pilot, running for Congress against Brian Fitzpatrick in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District. After nearly 13 years of military service as a pilot and a company Commander, she left the Army to get her Master’s degree at the University of Oxford. She lives in Bensalem.

Malcolm Kenyatta

About Malcolm Kenyatta

Representative Malcolm Kenyatta is a third-generation North Philadelphia native, thought leader, and legislator currently serving in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. He earned a B.A. in Public Communications and a minor in Political Science from Temple University, a M.S. in Strategic and Digital Communications from Drexel University, and completed the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executives in State and Local Government program. 

Representative Kenyatta is a barrier-breaking public figure, becoming the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color and one of the youngest people to become a members the PA General Assembly in 2018. In 2022, he became the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color to seek a U.S. Senate seat in American history. 

Eugene DePasquale

About Eugene DePasquale

Born and raised in the blue-collar city of Pittsburgh, Eugene knows the value of hard work, putting himself through law school at night.Eugene is a lifetime Democrat and principled leader who will stand up to both parties to protect Pennsylvanians. He’s earned a reputation as a transparent, independent watchdog of the taxpayer’s money. As a former state legislator and two-term Auditor General with a record of protecting Pennsylvanians by taking on tough challenges and holding each party accountable, Eugene asks for your support in his campaign for Attorney General.

Erin McClelland

About Erin McClelland

A native of Western Pennsylvania and a lifelong Democrat, she was born, raised, and currently live in a working-class steel mill town on the outskirts of Allegheny County. She is the beneficiary of four generations of organized labor and relishes the fact that her hometown still has an operational steel rolling mill. She received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 and my Master of Science concentrating in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Chatham University (formerly Chatham College) in 2002.

Anand Patel

PA House District 18

About Anand Patel

Anand was born in midwest India, 150 miles southwest of Mumbai. At the age of 2, his family moved to the US to start a new life and create opportunities they didn’t have back at home. Anand’s parents went from housekeepers to eventually buying multiple local hotels, and then ventured into other business opportunities. Anand followed in their footsteps, working his way up from a part time employee at a local GNC to now owning two stores. He was the only Democrat elected to the Bensalem School Board in 2015, and worked across the aisle to help our kids and families.

About Tim Brennan

Tim Brennan grew up waiting tables in his parent’s mom-and-pop restaurant, is a first-generation college graduate, is a dad to a wonderful thirteen-year-old, and has been committed to his wife, Tricia, a social worker, for twenty-five years. Tim is a councilperson, an attorney for injured workers and a municipal solicitor.  As a solicitor, he fought Donald Trump in court, protecting our democratic principles. Tim served as a community college professor, instructed lawyers on animal law and government transparency, provided pro bono legal assistance for struggling homeowners, victims of discrimination and first responders, and has been an advocate for redistricting reform.

About Perry Warren

Perry Warren is the state Representative for the 31st Legislative District, which includes Lower Makefield Township, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, Yardley Borough and Morrisville Borough Wards 1, 2 and 3. Perry was first elected to Newtown Borough Council in 2009 and was re-elected in 2013. During his seven years on Newtown Borough Council, he was recognized as a “bridge builder,” committed to bringing members of both political parties together to forge workable solutions to serve the community. Perry was first elected to the General Assembly in 2016.

About Jim Prokopiak

Jim Prokopiak is a dedicated public servant with over a decade of public service. Jim is a lifelong Levittown resident and proud father of 3 children (Jimmy 16 Annie 14, Amelia 14), who all attend Pennsbury schools. He is a graduate of West Chester University and Temple School of Law, and volunteers as a coach for both flag-football and basketball.

About Tina Davis

Tina Davis was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2010 to serve the 141st Legislative District. Now entering her fifth term, Rep. Davis has forged a leading role on key issues, including economic development and opportunity; job creation; pay equity; property tax reform; and programs assisting families, seniors and veterans.

About Anna Payne

Anna is a motivated candidate running for State Representative for the 142nd District. With a strong background in public service and a lifelong residency in Middletown, she brings a record of experience that uniquely qualifies her to serve her constituents. Since 2020, Anna has served on the township board of supervisors, where she has been dedicated to fighting for issues that improve people’s quality of life. In this role, she has contributed to the creation of the Human Relations Council and the implementation of the first-ever climate action plan.
In addition to her local contributions, Anna is the vice-chair of the Pennsylvania Rare Disease Council and co-founder of the Bucks County Cystic Fibrosis Alliance. As someone diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth, Anna has not only overcome adversity but has thrived as a leader advocating for change. Her personal experiences have shaped her commitment to bringing positive change to her community.

Eleanor Breslin

About Eleanor Breslin

Eleanor Breslin is more than just a mother and attorney; she stands as a dedicated civic leader in her township. As the first woman elected to lead Tinicum township, she is known for her skill in bringing people together and finding solutions. Eleanor’s responsibilities span a six-year term, overseeing fiscally-responsible governance. As a founding and managing partner of Meshkov & Breslin, LLC, she ran a small business which became a multi-county law practice.Her experience in both state and federal courts has left a lasting positive impact on her clients as well as the legal landscape. She also serves as a staff attorney  at the Clean Air Council in Philadelphia where she champions environmental advocacy at the state level. Beyond her professional roles, Eleanor is an active volunteer. Her involvement in PennFuture’s Advocates for Conservation and the Environment (ACE) Program showcases her passion for environmental advocacy. She has also volunteered for over a decade with North Penn Legal Services providing free legal representation to low-income families to help them avoid mortgage foreclosure through a court-established mortgage diversionary program, as well as custody disputes, and representing individuals in unemployment compensation hearings. Currently she focuses her pro bono work helping minor petitioners seek court authorization for medical treatment at the Allentown women’s center.

About Brian Munroe

Brian Munroe has spent his entire adult life serving his community. He is a Navy veteran, and has served as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and police officer. Brian was elected to the Warminster Board of Supervisors in 2015, the Bucks County Clerk of Courts in 2019, and was elected State Representative in 2022.

Vera Cole

About Vera Cole

Vera Cole is an engineer and educator. She led Energy and Sustainability Policy degrees at Penn State, following a career in manufacturing and renewable energy. She holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Information Science. Vera has lived in the district for 33 years, in Kintnersville and currently West Rockhill, where she served on the Township’s Conservation Committee. Vera is running to give everyone a fair shot at their best life. She will honor our elections and courts, preserve our personal freedoms, and work across the aisle to support all Pennsylvanians. 

Paul Lang, Jr.

About Paul Lang

Paul is a proud veteran. Following my discharge from the Army, my wife Judy and I settled in Bucks County and raised our two children, Rachel and Paul Jr. 

We are proud, lifelong democrats. Judy and I were appointed as the first Democratic committee members in the newly formed District 4, and we still serve in this capacity today. As the Democratic chair of the 178th Assembly District, I  am responsible for selecting candidates for the PA House of Representatives. I have served as Commissioner of the Bucks County Housing Authority and was selected to join the Military Academy Review Board. Judy and I were co-presidents of the Delaware Valley chapter of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Parents’ Association. Also, I am a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Locally, I have coached the Northampton Little League and CYO basketball. I was also vice president of the Northampton-Southampton Area Jaycees. Volunteer work includes Gilda’s Club, serving cancer survivors and their families.

I truly believe in “giving back,”  helping people, and making our country work for us all.
